Annabelle got ready at her parent’s home overlooking the sea on a warm June morning. She wore her mother’s modified wedding dress, creating her own look while honoring her family history, and despite her large bridal party of close friends she made it feel like an intimate family affair. After a simple first look with Tom we spent some time capturing portraits in a gorgeous, diffuse light – overcast really is a photographer’s dream! Following a traditional church ceremony the guests migrated to Wee Burn Country Club in Darien, CT to sip cocktails in the soft evening air, then ate and danced the night away surrounded by delicate pink & white blooms. The strength of Annabelle & Tom’s relationships with their family and friends shone throughout the whole day, truly making theirs a shared celebration of love, and the day was flawlessly planned and executed by Jack & Grace Events.
