Not everyone is a party person. But for those who are, New York City is a great place to be. I recently had the pleasure of photographing a 70th birthday bash at the relatively new and absolutely fabulous Hall des Lumières in Manahattan, and the decor was to die for. The client enlisted the multitalented Gabrielle Jaworskyj of Gabrielle Events, who designed and executed a brilliant concept that worked seamlessly with the venue’s projections. Guests were greeted by a sculptural floral installation at the entrance, which set the tone for the grandiose cocktail hall, where the partygoers enjoyed a special performance before descending to the lower level for dinner. Gabrielle had clear tables and chairs made for the space, which let the projections shine through and created the feeling of dining inside of a painting. Hellabloom filled the space with gorgeous flowers, and guests dined and danced the night away among sparking lights and dreamy artscapes. What a way to welcome the next decade of life!
