A perfect July day. A lush island in Maine, surrounded by sparkling water. And a beautiful, heartfelt ritual of love – could it be more perfect? Molly and Chris celebrated their nuptials on Great Diamond Island off the coast of Maine, among the pine trees and blue skies Molly grew up with. We had planned on sunset photos, but while dinner was being served I saw dark clouds gathering on the horizon and knew we didn’t have much time before a summer storm burst. We stepped out of the tent, got the drone up in the air, and captured some dramatic photos of Molly & Chris on a rocky outcropping, wind whipping around them. Soon afterwards the clouds did burst, and sheets of rain fell from the sky during speeches…but soon enough the sun was back, bringing with it a beautiful rainbow to bless the couple. After seriously getting down on the dance floor, they sailed off into the horizon with their friends and family to keep the party going. Diamond’s Edge Restaurant was a fabulous all-in-one venue, caterer & coordinator for the day.
